Hair Flowers....

I became obsessed with hair flowers last year when I started seeing my friend Julie wearing them. She's really creative and even makes her own. So I picked one up one day at Tilly's and just fell in love. I bought different flowers in different colors and would wear them every day last Summer. I quit wearing them during the Winter because I just didn't feel like they went with the Winter clothes. These past few days, it's been really warm here in California so I picked them back up. Here are some of my hair flower pics:

(That's Julie on the right with the big red rose:) )

Again, with the red poppy

white poppy....

And this one's from today, here's the close up of the pink flower...

Here are some of the flowers that I've been looking at for this year:

F21 Rosette bobby pin $5.80

F21 Fab Chiffon Flower Bobby Pins $1.50

hairflowers.net Bright White Velvet Gardenia Hair Clip and Pin Back $12.99

hairflowers.net Red Tropical Hibiscus Flower Hair Clip $5.99

hairflowers.net red tiger lily hair clip $6.99

What do you guys think? Do you like hair flowers or are you over it? :)

  7. Lovely! flowers in hair are so beautiful, but I don't think my curly mass of hair works well with flowers. Jen did you know I'm twitter friends with Julie...I been tweeting with her since last year. What a small world! I think I saw her once in LB but was too shy to say hi....LOL

  8. I love the hair flower. I recently received some from a goody hair event and I was afraid to wear it, for fear of looking childish, but you guys look great. Now I have the confidence to rock my hair flower.
